Is There a Test for Low Testosterone?

Blood testing for low testosterone is used not only to diagnose age-related testosterone loss, but any abnormality of testosterone level. Specific test will be ordered by the doctor that are required to evaluate, determine and create a baseline for Low Testosterone. The most common panel is known as a “Test Panel” that includes Total Testosterone, Free Testosterone and Estradiol. In additional to these panels, the doctor will order any other labs to make sure there is nothing else unknown and to rule out any other possible complications.
